1. Composition

Salvia miltiorrhiza, Scutellaria baicalensis, Oldenlandia diffusa, Crataegus cuneata, Paeonia suffruticosa, Paeonia lactiflora, Phellodendron amurense, Cullen corylifolium, Glycyrrhiza glabra, Sophora flavescens, Astragalus membranaceus, Angelica dahurica, Saposhnikovia divaricata, Lycium chinense and Rehmannia glutinosa.

2. Traditional and scientific evidence

♦ The herbs in this formula have long been used as traditional medicines for relief of acne. Extensive research has shown that the main active components of these herbs have the internal evil heat reducing, minor skin infection controlling, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, blood circulation improving and immune supporting properties.

♦ Acne is an infection of the sebaceous glands basically caused by imbalances of hormones. Excessive oil from the glands combine with dead skin cells to block hair follicles. Under the blocked pore, oil builds up. Skin bacteria can then grow very quickly. Killing the bacteria that grows in the blocked follicles is an effective way in relieving acne. Modern pharmacological and clinical research has shown that Savia miltiorrhiza, Scutellaria baicalensis, Oldenlandia diffusa, Paeonia suffruticosa, Phellodendron amurense, Angelica dahurica, Paeonia lactiflora have long been used for reducing the internal evil heat, remarkable anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. Savia miltiorrhiza, Oldenlandia diffusa and Crataegus cuneata may help reduce the facial oily skin excretion.

3. Indications for use

4. Directions

Adults take 2-3 capsules twice daily after meals.
