CholeSol^™ is a scientifically formulated, all natural herbal product. Its active ingredients have been traditionally used for hundreds of years and now the scientific evidence suggests that it may help maintain normal healthy cholesterol levels, support a healthy ratio of HDL/LDL as well as enhance general health in aging.

CholeSol^™ was researched and developed by a research team headed by Dr GR Hu. Dr Hu has over 30 years of clinical and research experience, particularly in the fields of anti-aging medicine, immunology and allergy at the University of Sydney and Shanghai Medical University with a particular focus on integrative herbal research.

1. Composition

CholeSol^™ capsule contains active components of the following herbs and minerals:

Curcuma longa (Curcuminoids), Camellia sinensis (catechins), Sugar cane wax alcohols, Polygonum cuspidatum (Resveratrol), Ganoderma lucidum, Ginkgo biloba, Lycium barbarum and Crataegus cuneata.

2. Traditional and scientific evidence

♦ Curcuma longa (Curcuminoids) 

Curcuma longa has long been used as a traditional medicine and food supplement throughout China, India and South-East Asia countries, in the management of poor appetite and helping improve blood circulation.

Curcuminoids are the main active components of Curcuma longa. Latest research shows that Curcuminoids may support normal healthy blood cholesterol and triglycerides levels, maintain healthy HDL/LDL ratio.

Curcuminoids are a group of natural-occurring antioxidants which are reported to help inhibit the harmful oxidation of lipids.

♦ Camellia sinensis (catechins)

Catechins are the major valuable part of Camellia sinensis (green tea) and the most beneficial component to the human body.

Extensive research has shown that catechins are able to regulate blood lipids, help maintain normal healthy cholesterol and triglyceride levels, support healthy HDL/LDL ratio, assist reducing intestinal absorption of dietary cholesterol and promoting the metabolism of cholesterol.

It is also a strong antioxidant which may eliminate excess oxidants from the body and help maintain healthy immune function, thus enhance general health in aging.

Decaffeinated catechins extracts of green tea used in this product will not cause excitation or affect sleep.  
 

♦ Sugar cane wax alcohols

Sugar cane wax alcohols are a mixture of eight different waxy alcohols in specific ratios, extracted from the waxy coating of the stems and leaves of sugar cane. Many clinical studies around the world show that it has the ability to help maintain normal healthy cholesterol levels and healthy HDL/LDL ratio.

♦ Ploygonum cuspidatum (Resveratrol)

Polygonum cuspidatum has long been used traditionally. Recent research has shown that this plant is rich in resveratrol.

The French are well known to enjoy high-fat and cholesterol foods, yet have remarkably less cardiovascular conditions, in what is known as the 'French Paradox'. Research has linked this to amount of red grape wine consumption by the French and it was found that the red grape wine contains resveratrol as the key component to this effect.

Resveratrol is an important natural substance found in many plants. The highest concentration of resveratrol is found in Polygonium cuspidatum and less so in grape skin which form the two main natural sources of resveratrol.

Extensive research has shown resveratrol provides multiple health benefits, including help in regulating blood cholesterol, maintenance of normal healthy cholesterol levels and enhancement of general health in aging.

Each capsule of CholeSol^™ contains resveratrol equivalent to 1 liter of good quality red wine for high potency in its action.  

♦ Ganoderma lucidum

The uses of Ganoderma are broad and long-standing. It has been reported not only support immune function, but also regulate blood fat levels, in particular that of cholesterol.

♦ Ginkgo biloba

Ginkgo biloba is globally one of the most widely used herbal medicines. Latest research has shown the extract of Ginkgo may benefit normal healthy blood cholesterol, and also help improve blood circulation.

♦ Lycium barbarum

Lycium barbarum is an age-old traditional tonic replenishes vital essence. Scientific research has demonstrated its benefits in conferring healthy blood fat levels and regulating immune function.

♦ Crataegus cuneata

Crataegus cuneata is a well known digestive aid. Clinical research has shown Crataegus helps maintain healthy cholesterol and triglyceride levels. It may also eliminate free radical and help regulate immune function.

3. Indications for use

4. Directions

Adult dose:

Adult dose: One capsule twice a day after meals. Can be reduced to one capsule daily in the evening after 2 to 3 months of taking.

Not recommended for pregnant or breast-feeding women or children under 12 years of age.

Use in conjunction with a balanced diet and exercise is preferred and may assist in improving or maintaining the effects of CholeSol^™.

6. Storage

CholeSol^™ capsule contains highly concentrated herbal extracts that are hygroscopic. Store with cap tightly closed at all times. Keep below 30^oC (86^oF) in a dry place and avoid direct sunlight.

As herbal extracts are highly hygroscopic, moisture may be absorbed into the capsules, but does not affect its effectiveness.
